TomZ Corp operate 64 machining centers out of a 7500 sq meter facility in Connecticut, USA manufacturing surgical instrumentation and implants to TS16949 Standards. They recently added a high accuracy WENZEL LH Scanning CMM to their quality control lab to oversee the quality of their production. The WENZEL LH6.7.5 is equipped with Renishaw PH10M motorized probe head and SP25 scanning probe. TomZ had been using 2 existing CMMs for over 10 years; however upgrading them to a newer software proved to be an irritation and hence the search for a new CMM supplier and the selection of the WENZEL and software after extensive benchmarking.
