The LHF coordinate measuring machines from WENZEL can be equipped with the REVO™ probe system from Renishaw to allow for ultra-rapid and high-precision measuring. This will increase the measuring productivity significantly. Five axis scanning of complex contours: The REVOTM system has the unique feature to process huge volumes of precise measuring data combined with extremely high scanning speeds. Renscan5TM “Tip-Sensing” probe heads need only one calibration for all measuring positions. Furthermore this system makes it possible to forego perfectly aligned mechanical clamping of the work piece on the machine, because the REVO™ probe system in combination with Metrosoft CM automatically adjusts its orientation according to the part coordinate system. As a result, several hours of set-up time can be saved. The outstandingly flexibility and accessibility of the REVO enormously reduces the number of probe configurations needed, which again increases productivity because of less calibration time and probe change cycles.
