The 2nd Forum on Promoting Advanced Manufacturing Technology of Western China was held in Chengdu on November 26, 2014.The Forum was jointly hosted by Vogel MM, a promoter for advanced manufacturing technology and an authorized provider for cross-media communication solutions of the whole industry chain, and Sichuan Mould Industry Association. Members from mold association, enterprise representatives from industries of automotive covering parts, electronic die, plastic mould, reshipment base large mold, space molding and process manufacturing equipment, as well as universities in the southwest China were invited to attend the meeting.

During the meeting, Wenzel made a presentation on the latest solutions for geometric measurement by applying new measurement technology, aiming to expand its influence in the mold enterprises in southwest China. As one of the measuring equipment manufacturer for quality control of mold industry, Wenzel’s products and technology, including high efficient five-axis continuous scanning technology and new industrial computed tomography CT workstation for a variety of materials to the internal and external structure of complex 3D data measurement and testing technology, attracted attentions from participants. In the question-and-answer session, Wenzel made a deep discussion and communication on the design and measurement solutions of mold in three coordinate measuring machine, material analysis on industrial (CT) and measurement with several other enterprises.

By leveraging the powerful media platform provided by Vogel, Wenzel further expanded its brand influence and in China’s regional market.
