WENZEL shows its teeth again!
Milan - The metrology specialist WENZEL presents its new gear measuring machine of the GT series live in public for the first time to a large professional audience at the EMO 2021.
The new GT series is based on WENZEL';;;s successful tradition in the development and production of specialised gear measuring devices. Many decisive details have been improved in the new development. The new GT series works with WENZEL';;;s standard control WPC and comes with a completely new gear measuring software WM | Gear developed by WENZEL including the universal WM | Quartis measuring software. With the GT series WENZEL sets standards: gear measuring technology grows together with the universal metrology : tactile and optical.
The GT series offers the right solution for a wide range of measuring tasks: for small-modulus gearing and rotationally symmetrical components, e.g. from the automotive industry, through toothed workpieces and shafts used, for example, in commercial vehicles, railway transmissions or construction and agricultural machinery, right up to the measurement of marine gears. For easy clamping of shafts, the gear measuring device can optionally be equipped with a counter holder. Using the counter holder, diameters of up to 1,200 mm can be measured. For components that do not require a counter holder, diameters of up to 1,600 mm can be measured precisely. WENZEL supports a wide range of industries and provides solutions for the automotive and energy industries, materials handling, agriculture, the aerospace industry and mechanical and plant engineering.
